Children's Ministry

Birth - 5th Grade

Kids Cove joins the mission of Lighthouse Church by helping children discover Christ in community, grow as gospel-centered disciples, and develop their God-given gifts and calling.

Because Scripture teaches that parents are the primary disciple-makers in their homes, our goal is to partner with families by providing:

  • Sunday morning Kids Cove classes
  • Family events that encourage fellowship, service, and fun
  • Resources that equip parents to disciple their children at home

Family Celebration Services
On every 5th Sunday, there is no Kids Cove. Instead, children join their families in the worship service as we celebrate and learn together.

July Schedule | No Kids Cove in July - In the month of July, Kids Cove will not meet. 

Why? | To honor a healthy rhythm of rest and service for our volunteers and families.

Family Worship | During this time, we gather together as one church family to learn, sing, and celebrate the Lord in a unified worship service.

NEW VOLUNTEER ONBOARDING PROCESS:

  1. Interview with the Children's Coordinator
  2. Complete Child Safety Training
  3. Complete Process & Procedure Training
  4. Criminal Background Check


If you are interested in volunteering with Kids Cove, please contact our Children's Coordinator.

For health standards, we require that children be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 24 hours.

Also, please let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have upon check in.

Biblical Teaching

In Kids Cove, we study the same Scripture as the adults each week, helping families grow together in discipleship. We walk through the Bible book by book, seeing how all of Scripture points to Jesus Christ.

Discipleship is supported through large group teaching, discussion questions, activities, and memory verses designed to help children understand and apply God’s Word.
